  • Hebrew - Beginning with letter recognition for our youngest children, this program leads students through phonetic decoding, reading comprehension & writing. Age appropriate textbooks & workbooks will be completed throughout the year.  We also will implement the successful and effective Aleph Champion Program.
  • Torah (Bible) & Jewish History - The children are introduced to the characters & stories of the Bible.  They are given an overview of Jewish history starting with creation to the giving of the Torah to modern day Israel.
  • Holidays - Each grade examines the holiday from a totally different perspective, making each year's learning a new & exciting holiday adventure.  Hands-on lessons on each Jewish holiday will fill the calendar as we proceed from Rosh Hashanah and the High Holidays through the holiday of Shavuot.  The students will have a deeper understanding of each holiday, its traditions & customs. We will also host holiday celebrations for students & their families.
  • Jewish Values & Ethics - Each grade covers a different aspect of our Jewish values & ethics.

  • Group 1 learns about "Marvelous Midos & Manners," which is a selection of 12 human-to-human Mitzvot, including respect, gratitude, & tzedakah.
  • Grade 2 in "My Jewish Home" gets a virtual tour of the mitzvot connected to a home, including Mezzuzah, Shabbat, Kosher & Cleanliness.
  • Grade 3 studies "Thorahpedia," a Torah and Mitzvot encyclopedia with one mitzvah for each letter of the Alephbet, including the environment, appreciation, humility, proper treatment of animals, kiddush & happiness.

Sunday Reading Readiness 9:30-12:15pm K-1st

Join our well loved teacher Morah Edye as the children get their first experience of Judaism. Holidays and Jewish events are learned through projects and song. The aleph bet is introduced as the children learn the letters and their sounds.

Tuesday Program 4:45-6:30
2nd-7th Grade

  • Major Holidays - Holiday Hands on Professional Workshops such as Shofar Factory, Chanukah Factory, Matzah Factory, Tefillin Factory, and many more! Explore the holidays of Chanukah & Purim in depth.  Includes art, cooking, & holiday prayers.
  • Ulpan - Learn to speak simple Hebrew sentences & sing Hebrew songs while strengthening fluency skills.
  • Jewish Heros - Learn about the lives of fascinating Jewish heros.
  • Ten Commandments - Study this ancient, but relevant, text as we delve into the most important issues of Judaism & society.
  • Pirkei Avot - Great discussions and special book on Jewish Ethics & moral values.
  • Israel - "Travel" from city to city & learn about its history as well as modern day life as you pick up souvenirs along the way.
