Memorial Plaque

The Memorial Plaque is an elegant bronze memorial tablet located in our Synagogue. You can eternalize the names of your loved ones by inscribing them on the Plaque.

Names inscribed on the plaque will have their Yahrzeit observed in the following traditional manner:

  • A reminder notice will be mailed to you each year in advance of the yahrzeit date.
  • If a family member is unable to say Kaddish it will be said during the service.
  • The personal memorial light will be lit during the month of the Yahrzeit and on all Yizkor days.
  • Four times a year, on Yom Kippur, Succot, Pesach, and Shavuot, the "Memorial Moleh" prayer will be recited at the conclusion of the Yizkor service.
  • Your loved one will be remembered in the annual Memorial Book distributed at services

The cost for inscription on a bronze plaque is $450. 

Each year thereafter, a contribution of any size will be accepted on the Yartzeit day. Orders take four to six weeks to process. Order early to be ready for the Holidays.
