Chabad Women's circle gathered for our Shake and Chocolate evening. They enjoyed delicious chocolate treats like chocolate mousse and white chocolate chip brownie and heard about the special month of Cheshvan.
The oldest son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding member of Hamas, Mosab Yousef risked everything to expose the secrets of the extremist Islamic organization and reveals the amazing double life he lived trying to prevent the killing of innocents by working with the Israeli Mossad.
The students from our Hebrew School and Hebrew High went on a trip to tour Jewish Los Angeles. They visited the Pico/Robertson area, starting with a stop at the Mezuzah Gallery. The scribe showed the class tefillin, torah parchment and mezuzot. Then, we went on a walking tour visiting the local Chabad shuls, schools, and other local synagogues. We also enjoyed Kosher pizza, ice cream, and a visit to the bakery. What a great day!
Children from all over the county enjoyed the special Lag B'Omer spirit at the Israel Fair. Thanks to Shalom Elcott, Rabbi Moshe Engel and Chagit Partouche for a great job.
