A Women's Event.
Over 30 women gathered at Chabad for a dinner party and hands on art presentation. We enjoyed a gourmet dinner. Then, we went inside where art master Erica Wolfson had an art display so we could experience the different textures. Erica demonstrated a picture of oranges, which we recreated step by step. We then went outside in the summer night, enjoyed the main course and dessert. Naomi Blesofsky spoke about the connection between art and Judaism, how we use the world Hashem created and its resources to create art.

A special ceremony dedicating the Education Building Courtyard by Jay, Mark & Ian Kessler in memory of David & Tybe Kessler. David & Tybe were pioneering members of the Chabad Center from the early days in Anaheim. Their legacy of generosity is being continued by their children.

Our Jewish Trip To LA
Last Sunday community members met at Chabad in the morning and drove to Los Angeles to see and experience Jewish La. We were met by Rabbi Zalman Kravitz of Jews for Judaism for a walking tour down the famous Pico Blvd. We visited the Mezuzah Gallery and met with a scribe, visiting other Chabad synagogues, and got a chance to see the Tomchei Shabbos warehouse. Tomchei Shabbos packs and delivers Kosher food anonymously to the Jewish community each Friday for Shabbat. We also had a delicious lunch at Pico Kosher Deli. Thanks to all for joining us!
